Kevin Mbabu is a Swiss professional footballer who plays as a defender for the Switzerland national team and German club Werder Bremen. He was born on April 19, 1995 in Geneva, Switzerland.
Mbabo began his career with the youth academy of Swiss club Servette, before moving to the academy of English club Newcastle United in 2013. He made his professional debut for Newcastle United in 2015 and went on to make a total of 10 appearances for the club.
In 2016, Mbabo joined Swiss club BSC Young Boys on loan, where he had a successful season and helped the team win the Swiss Super League. He then signed a permanent deal with Young Boys in 2017.
Mbabo has represented Switzerland at various youth levels before making his senior debut for the national team in 2015. He has since gone on to earn several caps for Switzerland and was named in the squad for the 2020 UEFA European Championship.
